Banana Oat Shake

Research has shown oat bran can help lower cholesterol levels, regulate blood sugar levels, be useful in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticulosis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hypertension, and preventing colon cancer and gastric cancer. Oats are also used for constipation, diarrhoea, nicotine withdrawal, and lowering uric acid levels. Oats as a herbal medicine is also used for acute or chronic anxiety, stress, weak bladder, connective tissue disorders, gout, kidney ailments and various skin conditions.

Banana Oat Shake

1 serve protein powder of your choice

1 banana

1 tablespoon Oatbran

1 cup water

3-6 Ice cubes

 

Combine ingredients in blender 30 – 40 seconds

Sprinkle with cinnamon to serve.
