Sarah has an immense passion for therapeutic nutrition and herbal medicine, combining both traditional healing wisdom and modern science to deliver effective treatments for conditions of the mind, gut and hormones.

Sarah has a special interest in Nutritional Psychiatry; combining dietary, lifestyle, nutritional and herbal prescriptions in the treatment of various mental health complaints. She aims to uncover the underlying drivers in order to support healing from the ground up in a range of complaints including but not limited to;

  • Mental Health; Stress, Anxiety, Depression & Addictions
  • Gut Health; Chronic bloating & various gastrointestinal conditions
  • Hormone Health; Endometriosis, PCOS, Acne, Menopause & Fertility
  • Chronic Disease; Fatigue, Hypertension, Fatty Liver, Diabetes, Metabolic Disease

Inevitably it was Sarah’s initial career in the fitness industry which originally led her to the University of Queensland to undertake dietetic studies. After completing her first year it was obvious to Sarah that she envisaged a more holistic approach to treatment than dietary advice alone. She began to recognize the complexities of disease involving the mind, gut and hormones and the need for individualized treatments.

Sarah then discovered Endeavour College of Natural Health where she completed her Bachelor of Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. During Sarah’s student clinical practicums she came to notice the efficacy of herbal interventions for the nervous system in particular alongside nutritional medicines in her patients. This led her to continue studying and later completing a second health science degree in Naturopathy.

Sarah is currently enrolled to complete her Masters of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine where she will undertake research projects and further deepen her knowledge in the areas of integrated mental health, gastroenterology and women’s health.

Sarah is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), and she maintains continuing professional development by attending regular seminars and conferences.
